Houston Gears Up for Final Homestand of the Season

Cougars set to celebrate senior day on Saturday
HOUSTON – Houston Tennis is back in action at the Barbara Wallace Tennis Facility for three matchups this week, with a doubleheader on Thursday, followed by a match on Saturday.
The Cougars (8-6) are coming off their first road victory, a 6-1 decision against Florida Atlantic, and will look to keep the momentum going at home.
Houston is currently 7-0 at the Barbara Wallace Winston Tennis Facility with wins against Louisiana Monroe, Southern, Prairie View A&M, Lamar, UTSA, Northwestern State and Gonzaga.
The Cougars will begin their three match homestand with a Thursday doubleheader, first at 10 a.m. against Binghamton, followed by McNeese at 2 p.m.
Houston closes out its home slate of action for the season against conference rival Tulane, on Saturday at 1 p.m. for senior day, honoring Sophie Gerits.
Fans can attend the match free of charge and no student ticket claim will be necessary.
SCOUTING THE BEARCATS
Following the three match homestand, Houston will travel to Florida, to face USF and FIU. The Cougars will take on the Bulls on Friday, March 25 at 11 a.m., and the Panthers on Sunday, March 27 at 12 p.m.
