
Houston Hosts UTEP for Midweek Match

The Cougars face the Miners on Wednesday
HOUSTON – After a successful spring break week, the Houston Women's Tennis Team welcomes University of Texas El Paso at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, March 20, at the Barbara Wallace Winston Tennis Facility.
Last week, the Cougars traveled to California to top both Long Beach State and San Diego State in two friendly matches. Both victories were sweeps, where Houston did not drop any matches, clinching 4-0.
ABOUT THE MINERSUTEP comes into Houston with a 4-10 record, falling to Sam Houston State in their last match, 1-5. Freshman Kirsten Prelle leads the Miners at Flight 1 on both singles and doubles.
UP NEXT FOR HOUSTON
Next week, the Cougars are on the road, facing ACC Boston College at 2 p.m. on Friday, March 29, in Chestnut Hill, Mass. The next day, Houston will square-off against conference foe UCONN, on Saturday, March 30, in Storrs, CONN.
