Tennis Set to face rv Baylor, UTRGV

Cougars travel to Waco for two matches
WACO, Texas – The University of Houston Tennis program will head to Waco for a two-match road swing where it is set to face rv Baylor on Saturday at noon and UTRGV on Sunday at noon from the Hawkins Indoor Tennis Center on the campus of Baylor.
The Cougars (0-1) look to pick up their first win of the season this weekend. Houston is coming off its first match of the spring which resulted in a 7-0 loss to No. 5 Texas A&M on Tuesday.

SCOUTING THE BEARS
The Cougars will then return to Houston to open their home schedule with a three-match home slate at the Barbara Wallace Winston Tennis Facility against Elon at 10 a.m., on Friday, Jan. 27, Texas State at noon on Saturday, Jan. 28 and will close out the weekend against Louisiana Monroe at noon Sunday, Jan. 29. Admission is free.

- The Cougars and the Bears have split the all-time series, 11-11.
- The last time Houston and Baylor met, the Bears claimed a 7-0 decision (March 26, 2021).
- UTRGV is entering its third season under Head Coach West Nott.
