Houston Wins Second Half of Double Header With McNeese

In the second game the Cougars took the lead in the third inning when Lindsay Durham and Kim Nesloney put down back-to-back singles and scored on an error. The second insurance run was scored by Jenilee Skender with her second solo homerun of the year. The run by McNeese State was also on a solo homerun by Katie Trout. The pitcher for McNeese was Corrie Hale who takes the loss.
The winning pitcher of the day for the Cougars, was Jenny Johnson her record improves to 4-2. The Cougars finish the series 13-3 and will make a trip to Lafayette Louisiana this weekend to take on UL-Lafayette, Florida and Northwestern State.
