2027 Big 12 Softball Schedule Announced

HOUSTON – The University of Houston Softball team, along with the Big 12 Conference, announced the 2027 league schedule.

The Cougars play eight series with four of them at Cougars Softball Stadium this spring.

Houston opens the conference slate March 12-14 when they host Oklahoma State before its first road trip of league play to face UCF in Orlando, Fla., March 19-21.

The Cougars host Iowa State (March 26-28) and Utah (April 2-4) on back-to-back weekends.

Trips to Arizona State April 9-11 and Texas Tech on April 23-25 bookend a bye week.

Houston hosts Baylor April 30-May 2 before wrapping the regular season at Kansas May 7-9

The Cougars return 10 players from the 2026 squad including All-Big 12 Second Team performer Makenna Mitchell, who finished in the Top 10 in single season home runs with 18.
