Thirteen Cougars Tabbed 2026 Easton/NFCA Scholar-Athlete

Softball scores back-to-back seasons with double digit scholar-athlete selections
HOUSTON – Thirteen student-athletes from the University of Houston Softball team collected Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete honors for the 2025-26 academic year.
It is the second-straight year that double-digit Cougars earned the distinction.
Nevaeh Brown, Isabel Cintron, Mandy Esman, Ronnie Esparza, Leilani Garcia, RyLee Gardner, Kylei Griffin, Maddie Hartley, Paris Lehman, Savanna Luther, Kylee Savant, Shelby Taylor and Kaitlynn Torres were all named to the list.
Brown, Cintron, Esman and Luther each earned the distinction for a second-straight year.
The award recognizes student-athletes who achieved a 3.5 GPA or better. Overall, 8,850 collegiate student-athletes earned the honor for the 2025-26 academic year.
