HOUSTON -- The University of Houston Softball team will continue their six-game road swing and return to American Athletic Conference play with a three-game series at Memphis across April 28-30 at Tigers Softball Complex.

• Houston is looking to bounce back from a 5-4, eight-inning loss at McNeese on Tuesday.
• On the season, Houston leads The American in batting average (.296) and on base percentage (.378), ranking second in slugging percentage (.428), home runs (31), runs scored (224) and earned run average (2.66).
• Individually, sophomore Maya Thomas ranks second in The American with a .436 batting average, while senior Shelby Miller (.369) and freshman Arielle James (.365) rank seventh and eighth, respectively. James leads all freshmen in batting average. Miller also ranks second with 44 RBI.
• In the circle, sophomore Savannah Heebner leads the team with an 11-8 record and 2.02 ERA. Heebner's 11 wins and ERA both rank fourth in The American. Freshman Trystan Melancon is 10-8 with a 2.98 ERA. Melancon's 10 wins rank fifth in conference, second among freshmen. Sophomore Presley Bell is 2-5 with a 3.62 ERA and two saves. Bell has 13 appearances in relief and six starts. Freshman Hannah Wolfe carries a 3.32 ERA though eight relief appearances.
• Houston leads Memphis, 28-9, in the all-time series and is 10-8 in visits to Memphis.
