HOUSTON â€" The Houston Cougar women's tennis team is back on the road as they face No. 46 Dartmouth on Saturday, March 26 in Hanover, N.H.
Most recently, the Cougars traveled to face American Conference rival SMU on Saturday, March 19 where they fell 4-0 to the Mustangs. A short-handed Houston team was forced to take on SMU without a full lineup, but despite the loss No. 91 Despoina Vogasari climbed up in the national rankings from her previous holding at No. 107.
Vogasari and her doubles partner Rocio Martin have found increasing success on the doubles court this season, going 9-2 on the year. The duo will be put to the test against Dartmouth's dynamic duo of No. 16 Taylor Ng and Kristina Mathis on the top doubles court this weekend.
Dartmouth most recently lost to Long Beach State, 5-2 contributing to a slight drop in the ITA rankings, and bringing the Big Green's record to 8-3. After hosting Houston, Dartmouth will finish their season against seven consecutive Ivy League opponents.
