Houston Softball Lets Baylor Slip Through

Houston ,Texas - Baylor took an early lead on the Cougars, scoring one run in the first inning. They added the second run in the top of the fifth, as the Bear's Carrie Levesque scored from third on a wild pitch. Baylor knocked in two more runs in the sixth inning when Elena Keine doubled to right center and Arnold knocked a home run out of centerfield to score the final game clinching runs.
The win goes to Baylor's Joni Miller who is now 6-1. Houston's Jenny Johnson falls to 3-1.
Houston will compete as the number three seed in single elimination play on Sunday. Their first game is scheduled for 9:00am. The championship game is scheduled for 5:00pm.
