Outdoor: Threw the javelin at four meets during the outdoor season…Qualified for the NCAA West Regional, where he finished 21st with a mark of 207-11 (63.37m)…Scored a point for the Cougars with an eighth-place finish at 213-11 (65.21m) at The American Outdoor Championships…Set a lifetime best of 234-10 (71.58m) to win the jav at the Cougar Spring Break Invitational.
2016-17 (Junior) Did not compete during the 2016-17 season due to an injury.
2015-16 (Sophomore)
Outdoor:NCAA West Regional Qualifier in the javelin...Earned All-American Athletic Conference honors with his third place finish at the conference meet after throwing a new personal best 69.03m (226'-6")...His mark at the conference meet stands as the second longest throw in program history...Finished in the top-3 in four separate meets throughout the outdoor season including a second place finish at the Victor Lopez Classic on April 4 (63.79m)...Placed third at the Texas Relays in the javelin with a throw of 66.21m (217-2)
2014-15 (Freshman)
Outdoor: Was the Cougars sole Javelin thrower on the men's team... Recorded 65.21m (213'-11") in his first appearance to win the UTSA Invitational... broke into the school record books with the second best throw in school history... Improved his mark with a first place throw of 65.32m (214'-4") at the Georgia Tech Invitational and sits third in school history... Qualified for NCAA Regionals... Named All-American Athletic Conference team for third place finish at inaugural outdoor conference championships.
