2013-14 (Freshman)
Indoor: Competed in eight meets for the Cougars... Was one of the Cougars best hurdlers this season... Ran a collegiate best of 7.94 in the 60m Hurdles to place second at the Houston Indoor Opener (Jan. 11)... Finished seventh at the inaugural American Athletic Conference Indoor Championships.
Outdoor: Qualified for the NCAA Regional meet in the 110m hurdles... Ran a season best 13.93w at the Texas Invitational to finish fourth... Had the fastest qualifying time at the inaugural American Athletic Conference Outdoor Championships but was disqualified in the finals.
HIGH SCHOOL
Ran hurdles for Booker T. Washington High School... He was named Math Student of the Year.
PERSONAL
Son of John and Lorraine Gibbs... Hobbies include being active, listening to music, and reading the Bible... After college, Gibbs aspires to become a Petroleum Engineer... Was involved in community service with GENTS.
