Cougars recorded 20 shots with eight on goal against Wildcats

ABILENE, Texas — After facing a 30-minute weather delay, the University of Houston Soccer team played to a scoreless draw against ACU on Thursday evening at Elmer Gray Stadium.

The scoreless result is the second of the season for the Cougars (2-0-2) as they finished with a scoreless draw against FGCU in the season opener.

Houston recorded 20 shots, including eight on goal. ACU (1-1-2) produced seven shots with just two on goal.

Junior Skylar Miller created the first chance of the game in the 12^th minute but was stopped by ACU's goalkeeper Bella Medrano.

The Cougars continued to battle in the second half, with three shots on goal in the final 30 minutes of the game.
