The Bearkats took their first lead of the game with two runs in the bottom of the fourth. The score held until the eighth, where the Cougars posted four runs in their half of the frame. Two singles from Perez and Jackson as well as a Savattere walk loaded the bases, with Perez scoring on a wild pitch.
