
Houston Set to Host BYU, UTRGV in Doubleheader

Cougars look to improve winning streak on Saturday
HOUSTON - Houston Tennis gears up for another doubleheader on Saturday at the Winston Tennis Facility, where it will first face BYU at 10 a.m. CT, before taking on UTRGV at 2 p.m. CT.
SCOUTING THE COUGARS
- The Cougars are entering their third season under head coach Holly Parkinson Hasler.
- BYU finished out its 2019 season with an 11-11 overall record, including a 4-5 finish in West Coast Conference play.
- The Cougars welcome back six members of their 2019 squad, and add three newcomers this season.
- BYU owns the all-time series, 2-0.
- In their last matchup, the Cougars claimed victory over New Mexico State, 4-3.
SCOUTING THE VAQUEROS
- UTRGV is entering its second season under head coach West Nott.
- The Vaqueros finished out their 2019 slate with an 8-12 overall record, including a 3-2 finish in Western Athletic Conference play.
- The Vaqueros welcome two newcomers this season, and return five members from the 2019 roster.
- Houston owns the all-time series, 7-0.
- In their last matchup, the Vaqueros notched their first win of the season in a 7-0 decision over Laredo College.
