Dimitrova Set for ITA All-American Championships

HOUSTON â€" Sophomore Tsveta Dimitrova is set to represent the Houston Cougar Women's Tennis team at the 2017 Riviera Women's All-American Championships on Saturday, on the campus of Pepperdine in Malibu, Calif.
Dimitrova will open action in the pre-qualifying round across Sept. 30-Oct. 1 with qualifying athletes moving on to the qualifying round Oct. 3-4. The main draw is scheduled to be held across Oct. 5-8. The final rounds of the ITA All-American Championships will move to the Riviera Tennis Club in Pacific Palisades, Calif.
Tournament draws will be released at a time closer to the competition.
Dimitrova was selected to the All-American Championships in early September and opened the season as the No. 85 ranked player in the nation, according to the Oracle ITA National Rankings. Dimitrova began the season with a 2-1 record at the Rice Invitational, where she advanced to the flight finals with victories over Agustina Serio (UTA) and Lindsey Hodge (Rice).

The Cougars return to action as a team when they head west to the HEB Invitational, hosted by Baylor, across Oct. 6-8.

The Cougars are proud to introduce the Center Court Club, a restricted-giving program that directly impacts the needs of the University of Houston Tennis program. Gifts to the Center Court Club provide financial support directly to the University of Houston Tennis program for needs beyond the program's operating budget. Revenue generated from the Center Court Club is used at the discretion of the head coach for program enhancements. Membership in the Center Court Club is annual and requires a minimum $100 gift.

For a minimum gift of $100, supporters receive a team poster and a signed tennis ball.
ACE
For a minimum gift of $500, supporters receive a team poster and a signed tennis ball, private practice invitation and a stadium blanket.
US OPEN
For a minimum gift of $1,000, supporters receive a team poster and a signed tennis ball, private practice invitation, a stadium blanket, fleece jacket and a lesson from the coach.
GRAND SLAM
For a minimum gift of $2,500, supporters receive a team poster and a signed tennis ball, private practice invitation, a stadium blanket, fleece jacket, a lesson from the coach and a group lesson from the coaching staff.
