Cougars Announce 2017 Fall Schedule

HOUSTON â€" Third-year Head Coach Courtney Steinbock and the Houston Cougar Women's Tennis program have announced the competition schedule for the 2017 fall season.
Houston opens the fall slate inside the city limits when it heads to the George R. Brown Tennis Center to compete in the Rice Invitational. The 3-day event will be held Friday, Sept. 22, through Sunday, Sept. 24, on the campus of Rice University.
Following the Rice Invitational, sophomore Tsveta Dimitrova will compete in the pre-qualifying stages of the 2017 Riviera/ITA Women's All-American Championships in Pacific Palisades, Calif. Dimitrova is set to compete in the pre-qualifying round across Sept. 30 and Oct. 1, while the qualifying round will be held Oct. 3-4 and the main draw is slated to run Oct. 5-8.
From there, the Cougars head west to Waco, Texas, for the HEB Invitational from Oct. 6-8 before wrapping the month of October with a trip to the ITA Texas Regionals in Fort Worth, Texas, from Oct. 13-17.
The Cougars close out the fall season by returning to Houston to compete in the River Oaks Hidden from Nov. 3-5. The event hosted by the River Oaks Country Club will also include Texas, Rice and North Texas.
Dates and times for the 2018 Houston Cougar Tennis spring schedule will be released at a later date.
JOIN THE CENTER COURT CLUB
The Cougars are proud to introduce the Center Court Club, a restricted-giving program that directly impacts the needs of the University of Houston Tennis program. Gifts to the Center Court Club provide financial support directly to the University of Houston Tennis program for needs beyond the program's operating budget. Revenue generated from the Center Court Club is used at the discretion of the head coach for program enhancements. Membership in the Center Court Club is annual and requires a minimum $100 gift.
LEVELS OF GIVING
WINNER
For a minimum gift of $100, supporters receive a team poster and a signed tennis ball.
ACE
For a minimum gift of $500, supporters receive a team poster and a signed tennis ball, private practice invitation and a stadium blanket.
US OPEN
For a minimum gift of $1,000, supporters receive a team poster and a signed tennis ball, private practice invitation, a stadium blanket, fleece jacket and a lesson from the coach.
GRAND SLAM
For a minimum gift of $2,500, supporters receive a team poster and a signed tennis ball, private practice invitation, a stadium blanket, fleece jacket, a lesson from the coach and a group lesson from the coaching staff.
