JUNIOR (2016)
Named to the American Athletic Conference First Team as a relief pitcher...Became the sixth Cougar all-time to notch 10+ saves in a single season with 11 in 2016...Finished the year 3-0 with a 1.40 ERA in a team-high 29 appearances...Struck out 67 in 51.1 innings for third-most on the team and most among relievers...Held opponents to a .154 average...Earned his first save as a Cougar in a win over Baylor (March 5)...Went four straight appearances with a save from March 5 -- 15...Earned all three wins in conference play and finished with a 0.98 ERA with 22 strikeouts in 18.1 innings against league opponents...Lasted a season-long 3.1 innings twice (at UConn, Memphis)...Went 20 appearances without issuing a walk and 11 appearances without issuing a hit...Struck out five twice (TCU, Cincinnati)...Earned three saves during the American Championship in four appearances en route to being named to the All-Tournament team.
