Women Who Win Panelists Announced

Nina Jackson, La’Torria Lemon, Diane Maben and Laura Meyer announced as panelists
HOUSTON – The University of Houston Women's Basketball program announced the panelist lineup featuring Nina Jackson, La'Torria Lemon, Diane Maben and Laura Meyer, for its inaugural Women Who Win, a Leadership and Networking event, scheduled for Tuesday, October 13, from 6-8 p.m. at Fertitta Center.

ABOUT THE PANELISTS
Diane Maben, the Chief Operating Officer at Amegy Bank since 2022, has spent her career building teams, developing talent and helping people translate hard-won skills from one field into success in another. She is responsible for providing direct support to Amegy's President and CEO regarding the bank's strategic initiatives and communication.
Before joining Amegy in 2006, Maben spent five years in new home construction sales and marketing. Maben moved to Houston, Texas shortly after completing her bachelor's in economics at Smith College in Northampton, MA.
Maben is also a graduate of Leadership Houston, Class XXXI, and American Leadership Forum Class of LIX.
Nina Jackson, the Director of Marketing and Public Relations for Legends Global–Reliant Park, leads the property's brand strategy, marketing, public and media relations, digital and social media, advertising, and creative initiatives.
Jackson has helped guide the property through four major brand transitions, most recently overseeing the transition of the entire NRG Park campus and its venues to the Reliant Park brand. Jackson has played a key role in promoting and securing some of the nation's most prestigious sporting events and has been instrumental in positioning the Houston complex as a premier destination for major events and entertainment.
Jackson earned her BBA in Accounting from Sam Houston State University, graduating with honors. She serves as Vice Chair and Finance Committee Chair for the Board of Directors of St. Paul Industrial School and serves on the Board of WISE Houston.
La'Torria Lemon, the award-winning founder and CEO of Lemon-Lime Light Media, has been described as a force in the entertainment, hospitality, and PR industries. Beginning her career in public relations at 19 while attending Clark Atlanta University, Lemon has led campaigns for clients including Procter & Gamble, the United Negro College Fund, Essence Festival and various national entertainment brands.
Her work has earned her three Publicist of the Year awards, recognition as one of Texas' Top Entrepreneurs of the Year and a 40 under 40 honor. In 2024, Lemon became the co-owner of Rain on Washington Lounge/ Restaurant in Houston.
Lemon's love for the community inspired her to create Houston Step Fest, First Class Men of Houston Dinner and "Let's Talk, Teen Talk," initiatives that celebrate achievement, support youth and create opportunities for the next generation.
Laura Meyer, the Senior Vice President of Performance Marketing and Business Intelligence for the Houston Rockets, Houston Rockets and Toyota Center, where she uses data and strategic insights to support business grown and decision-making.
Prior to joining the Houston Rockets in September 2025, she worked for the Minnesota Timberwolves for nearly two decades. During her tenure with the Timberwolves, Meyer held several leadership roles spanning business intelligence, operations, sales and revenue strategy, analytics, ticketing and sales technologies, pricing and projections.
She began her career with the Cincinnati Reds and holds a bachelor's degree in sports management, business, and psychology from Xavier University.

Seating inside the Fertitta Center for all Houston Women's Basketball games will start at $100. Season ticket holders can also add a season-long parking pass inside the Stadium Garage for $75.
Fans who opt for floor, loge and club seats will have access to amenities in the Sideline Club such as complimentary popcorn and soft drinks. A concession stand and cash bar will also be located for fans in the Sideline Club.
