HOUSTON – The University of Houston Women's Basketball program continues its homestand when it hosts UTSA at 7 p.m., Saturday, for Houston High Tops Night inside Fertitta Center in a game presented by Raising Cane's.

- Fans who attend the men's basketball game against Towson at 2 p.m., can present their tickets to receive free admission into the women's basketball game against UTSA.
- Fans can stop by the marketing table by the Holman Street entrance to enter the Jordan Brand gear raffle. The winner will be announced at halftime and must be in attendance to claim the prize.
- 2025-26 schedule posters are also available at the marketing table.

- New Houston Softball Head Coach Chrissy Schoonmaker will be the Honorary H of the game.

- Head Coach Matthew Mitchell earned his first victory at the helm of the Cougars with a 76-59 opening night victory over UT Arlington inside Fertitta Center on Tuesday.
- Five players scored in double figures, led by graduate forward Amirah Abdur-Rahim with 16 points on 6-for-8 shooting from the field.
- Graduate guard Briana Peguero followed up with 14 points paired with a career-high six steals.
- Freshman Jade Jones posted a near double-double off the bench with 13 points and a team-leading nine rebounds.
