PREVIEW: Houston Opens Big 12 Conference Play Against UCF Thursday

ORLANDO, Fla. – The University of Houston soccer team opens Big 12 Conference play against UCF at 6 p.m. CT, Thursday, from the UCF Soccer Complex.

LAST TIME OUT
Houston (3-2-1) took a 3-2 win against Texas State for its third-straight victory of the season on Sept. 1, in San Marcos, Texas.

Senior midfielder Juliet Moore recorded a hat trick, marking the first of her career and first for the Cougars since Desiree Bowen on Sept. 23, 2016, against New Mexico State.

UCF is led by Tiffany Roberts Sahaydak, who is in her 12th season leading the Knights. She is 120-56-28 in Orlando.
The Knights are 2-1-2 on the season.
Chloe Netzel leads the Knights with six goals in the season.
In its last match, UCF lost to South Florida, 1-0.

HISTORY WITH UCF

Houston and UCF meet for the 21st time in program history.
UCF leads the all-time series, 17-2-1.
The Cougars dropped the previous meeting against the Knights in Houston, 1-0 (Sept. 21, 2023).
Houston's only victory in Orlando was a 3-1 decision on April 11, 2021.
