Houston begins final road trip of the season at Temple Saturday before a midweek game at East Carolina
HOUSTON – The University of Houston women's basketball team will begin a two-game road trip, which will conclude their road slate for the season, at Temple on Saturday at 1 p.m. CT.

THE GAME
- Houston has won four of the last five meetings against Temple.
- Temple is 3-1 in the last four meetings in Philadelphia.
- Temple is on a three-game losing streak, starting with the two teams' last meeting Feb. 4.
- Houston is tied for third in the league with Memphis at 7-4 in conference play but just 1.0 GB from East Carolina at 9-4.
LAST TIME OUT
- Houston played its third consecutive game decided by five points or less.
- The 45 points allowed by Houston is the fourth time this year that the Cougars have allowed fewer than 50 points in a conference game.
- Houston held Memphis below 30 percent from the field but still lost the game.
- The Cougars held Memphis to just 14 first half points but allowed 31 in the second half while only scoring 18 of their own.
- Memphis hit a go-ahead three-pointer with 22 seconds remaining and held on for the win.
