Baseball Program Inks Multiple 2023 Recruits

Whitting announces recruiting class for 2023
HOUSTON – Head baseball coach Todd Whitting and the Houston baseball program inked multiple recruits for its 2023 signing class on Wednesday.
"I appreciate the hard work of our entire staff to land one of the top classes not only in Texas but nationally as well," Whitting said. "These efforts led by Coach Kivett and our admission into the Big 12 next season put us in a tremendous position to sign a great class to represent The University of Houston for many years to come."
Houston's 2023 recruiting class was ranked No. 27 was Perfect Game. It was the first time the Cougars have broken the Top 30 since the 2018 recruiting class. Five Tools Baseball also gave Housotn high marks, ranking the team as the No. 1 recruiting class in the state of Texas.
"The quality of this 2023 class is a direct reflection of the positive momentum here at the University of Houston and the Houston Baseball program," Assistant Coach and Recruiting Coordinator Ross Kivett said. "Our entire baseball staff is extremely proud to have signed a class full of such talented players and outstanding individuals. It is a true testament to their families, high school coaches and travel ball coaches. We are very excited to welcome the 2023 class to the Houston Baseball family!"
