Houston plays American Champion UCF on Friday, last-place South Florida on Wednesday
HOUSTON − The University of Houston volleyball team will look to finish the season in the win-column, hosting South Florida on Wednesday and UCF on Friday. The Cougars will finish second in the American conference with at least one win over the final two matches.

- Sophomore Abbie Kate Georgiades was named to the American Athletic Conference Honor Roll on Nov. 22 even though she led the conference in digs per set on the weekend.
- The Cougars' 24 wins so far in 2021 is the most since 1996 (24 wins).
- Houston handed UCF its only conference loss of 2021.
- Junior Rachel Tullos has the third-most solo blocks in school history (109).
- Houston is second in the conference standings with a 14-4 AAC record.
- Kate Georgiades ranks 12th nationally in digs/set (5.34) and leads the American Athletic Conference.
- Georgiades set a school record with 36 digs in a 4-set match at SMU (11/21).
- Georgiades has posted the seventh-most digs in a season in UH history (612)*. Broadcast analyst Natalie Keck ranks sixth all-time (654).
- Abbie Jackson ranks 5th all-time in UH history in aces (100).*
- Abbie Jackson set a season-high 31 kills against East Carolina (10/24), one off her career-high.
- Rachel Tullos ranks sixth all-time in Cougar history for hitting percentage (min. 250 kills), with a .309 attack pct.*
- Tullos has posted the 10th-best attacking average in program history in a season (.338)*. Isabel Theut ranks 13th all-time (.322).
- Senior Torie Frederick is 22 digs away from 1,000 career digs.
- Head Coach David Rehr won his 50th match at the helm of the Cougars against Tulsa (Nov. 7). His 50 wins occurred in 78 total matches played.
- Rehr is the fastest UH coach in NCAA program history to 50 wins (78 matches) with Bill Walton the second-fastest (79 matcehs).
- Rehr won his 200th NCAA match against Cincinnati (11/14).
