McMillan Named Cal Ripken League All-Star

Infielder played for Team Maryland, hitting .288 for Silver Spring-Takoma T-Bolts in summer league
HOUSTON -- University of Houston Baseball rising junior Ian McMillan was named a Cal Ripken Collegiate Baseball League All-Star for the Silver Spring-Takoma T-Bolts.
McMillan played for Team Maryland which defeated Team D.C./Virginia, 12-3, on Wednesday at Povich Field in Bethesda, Md.
To this point of the summer, McMillian is batting .288, going 23-for-80 with four doubles, one triple, one home run, nine walks, 15 RBI, 18 runs scored and four stolen bases across 23 games.
McMillan is the fourth Cougar to be named to a summer league all-star team, as teammates Tristen Bayless, Ron Brown and Lael Lockhart Jr. were named Valley Baseball League All-Stars.
