Cougars host Incarnate Word in 11-inning tilt
HOUSTON -- The University of Houston Baseball program concludes its fall exhibition schedule with Incarnate Word on Sunday at Don Sanders Field at Darryl & Lori Schroeder Park.
The two teams will square off in an 11-inning tilt getting underway at 2 p.m. Admission is free to the public and concessions will be open.
The exhibition is the second of two for Houston. The Cougars previously hosted San Jack on Oct. 16.
The UIW matchup welcomes back former staffer Ryan Shotzberger (2012-19), who enters his first season as the skipper of the Cardinals.
In April 2018, the NCAA announced a rule change allowing teams the ability to play two fall exhibition games against other teams without them counting against the 56-game, regular-season schedule.
