
Houston to Host San Jac in Exhibition, Wednesday

First pitch at 5 p.m.; 10-inning exhibition is free to public
HOUSTON -- The University of Houston Baseball program opens its fall exhibition schedule with San Jacinto College on Wednesday at Don Sanders Field at Darryl & Lori Schroeder Park.
Fans can get their first preview of the 2020 Cougars in a 10-inning exhibition getting underway at 5 p.m. Admission is free to the public and concessions will be open.
The exhibition is the first of two for Houston. The Cougars are also slated to host Incarnate Word on Oct. 27 at 2 p.m.
In April 2018, the NCAA announced a rule change allowing teams the ability to play two fall exhibition games against other teams without them counting against the 56-game, regular-season schedule. Houston hosted San Jac in an exhibition last fall.
RED-WHITE GAME
Houston Baseball will host its annual Red-White Game at 6 p.m. on Nov. 1 at Don Sanders Field at Darryl & Lori Schroeder Park. Admission is free to the pubic and concessions will be open.
