Fletcher Enjoys Arizona Fall Stars Game

Former Cougar records two strikeouts in 0.2 innings pitched
HOUSTON -- Former University of Houston Baseball standout pitcher Aaron Fletcher struck out both batters he faced in the Arizona Fall Stars Game over the weekend.
Fletcher started the seventh inning for the West squad with his two whiffs, as the East defeated the West, 4-2.

For his outing, MLB listed him as the No. 10 top performance, and Baseball America tabbed him the night's Most Intriguing Pitcher.
Fletcher, who was traded from Washington to Seattle on July 31, is the No. 26 prospect in the Mariners' organization.

Fletcher was a member of the Houston Baseball program from 2015 to 2018. He posted an 11-5 career record with a 2.06 ERA across 62 appearances including 15 starts.
In 2018, Fletcher was 7-3 with a 2.19 ERA. The team's closer the previous year, he turned in 10 quality starts in his first year in the starting rotation.
