Q: Why did you decide to attend the University of Houston?
AW: I decided to attend the University of Houston because it was the best fit for me, and is close to my home, so my family will be able to attend games.
Q: Describe yourself as a player in a few words.
AW: I decided to attend the University of Houston because it was the best fit for me, and is close to my home, so my family will be able to attend games.
Q: What is your dream vacation spot and why?
AW: Dream vacation would definitely have to be on some island with the bros.
Q: What is something most don't know about you?
AW: I enjoy listening to country music.
Q: I see myself in 10 years ...
AW: Playing professional baseball, or pursuing my career as a physical therapist.
Q: What is your favorite road trip snack?
AW: Without a doubt Scooby Snacks!
Q: What are your goals during your freshman season?
AW: I would love to make as big of a contribution to the team as possible, with the end result of the team playing in Omaha.
Q: Who is your favorite MLB player and why?
AW: The captain, Derek Jeter. He has been my favorite baseball player since I was younger.
Q: If you could eat dinner with anyone dead or alive, who would it be and why?
AW: Ozzie Smith, who is arguable one of the greatest defensive infielders of all time, and without a doubt the most entertaining. I would love to hear what he has to say about the way he carried himself everyday on the field and at practice.
Q: What are you most excited about this season?
AW: Just being on the field with the team and competing against the best of the best.
