Q: When did you start playing baseball?
RR: I started playing baseball at the age of five or six, because my parents wanted me to get involved with sports.
Q: Finish this sentence ... Playing baseball...
RR: Playing baseball has given me many opportunities I would have never thought were possible. This game has also taught me many life lessons.
Q: Why is the University of Houston the right fit for you?
RR: It is an all around well-known program, with a history of winning. The coaches were also a big factor that came into play. Another big reason would have to be staying close to my family.
Q: If you could be brothers with any of your teammates, who would it be and why?
RR: Probably Wendell Champion, because he is my roommate, so we are around each other a lot.
Q: What would a former coach or teammate say about you in a few words?
RR: I think they would say I'm always willing to get better, always putting in the extra work and giving it 100% between the lines.
Q: If you owned a food truck, what would you serve?
RR: A cross between Mexican food and BBQ.
Q: If you could have lunch with anyone (dead or alive), who would it be and why?
RR: President George W. Bush Sr. / Natalie Portman / Babe Ruth
Q: Who is your favorite MLB player and why?
RR: Tim Lincecum, because I love the way he plays the game and how he acts outside of baseball.
Q: What are you most excited about this season?
RR: I am looking forward to playing in a collegiate type of atmosphere and being able to compete at a higher level.
