Cougars To Hold 12 Days Of Baseball Giveaway

HOUSTON - With the holiday season in full swing, the University of Houston baseball team would like to say thank you to its fans with a 12 Days of Baseball giveaway from Dec. 14-25. During the giveaway, fans have a chance to win exciting prizes through the team's social media sites.
Beginning Dec. 14, each morning a prize will be posted on the team's Facebook page, Camp page and Twitter account. Fans must comment on the Facebook post or re-tweet the Twitter post to be eligible to win with each winner being announced in the afternoon. Winners will then be instructed on how to claim their prizes.
If you are not following the Cougar Baseball team on its social media sites be sure to do so before the start of the contest.
The contest begins with the chance to win a 2012 autographed team poster. Fans will then have the opportunity to win concession vouchers for a free hot dog, candy and non-alcoholic beverage and the chance to be a bat boy at a game during the 2012 season. Potential bat boys must be at least 10 years of age but no older than the eighth grade.
The giveaways continue with a photo with the team, a baseball merchandise prize pack and the chance to go on a tour of the upgraded clubhouse facilities led by a member of the team. Other prizes include a signed baseball and the chance to attend a pregame meal prior to a Friday or Saturday night contest.
The final days of the contest include the chance to win a flex ticket for the 2012 season. That includes 30 tickets that can be used in any combination to each of the team's 28 home games during the 2012 season, a value of $150. The 12 Days of Baseball giveaway wraps up with the chance to join the team on the field during pregame batting practice, the chance to throw out the first pitch at a game and the use of the press box suite during the 2012 season.
