Associate Producer for Cougar Productions

Marie Zamora is entering her first year with Houston Athletics in 2025-26, joining Cougar Productions as an Associate Producer where she will be involved in all aspects of live television production.

Coming from Charlotte, North Carolina, Zamora most recently worked in Minor League Baseball as the Technical Manager of Game Presentation & Production for the Charlotte Knights (Triple-A affiliate of the Chicago White Sox). With the Knights, she oversaw all A/V equipment, video boards, and broadcasting to MiLB.tv, CCTV, and local TV. During her time there, she was heavily involved with the installation of a new control room, which included new cameras and video boards. Over the course of her tenure, broadcast viewership increased by over 100% and the team was awarded best broadcast graphics honors at the Minor League Winter Meetings.

Zamora also has extensive experience in college athletics, having served as a Broadcast Production Manager with UNC Charlotte and Broadcast Assistant at Queens University. She has also served as Broadcast Director for WJZY-Fox46 Queen City News and Studio Operator at WSOC-TV in Charlotte, as well as a gameday production member for the Kannapolis Cannon Ballers (Low-A affiliate of the Chicago White Sox). Additional freelance experience includes ACC football, Charlotte FC, Wake Forest, Duke, UNC, High Point, Scher Shot Productions, Tupelo Honey, Big South women's soccer and basketball championships, and the Greensboro Swarm.

A native of Reno, Nevada, Zamora earned a BA in Communications with a concentration in Mass Media from UNC Charlotte, where she worked as a student broadcast technician and intern.
