Eight Cougars Receive CSC Academic All-District Honors

Mouhameth Fall, Owen Levesque, Ty Lott, Ryan Mulholland, Matilde Ochoa, Evina Panagiotou, Tirea Reed and Aubrey Tupper named to Academic All-District Team
HOUSTON – Eight members of the University of Houston Track and Field program earned College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team honors, the organization announced Tuesday.
Junior Mouhameth Fall, sophomore Owen Levesque, redshirt sophomore Ty Lott, graduate student Ryan Mulholland, senior Matilde Ochoa, sophomore Evina Panagiotou, sophomore Tirea Reed and senior Aubrey Tupper collected the honor. Their selection to the Academic All-District Team highlights their hard work both on the track and in the classroom.
Mulholland collected USTFCCCA Second Team All-America honors after competing on the 4x100-meter relay. Running a 38.34 alongside freshman Sean Aigboboh, junior Jaelyn Reeves-Lile and Louie Hinchliffe, the group posted the third fastest time in program history at the NCAA Outdoor Championships semifinal round. At the Big 12 Outdoor Championship, the Grass Valley, Calif., native helped lead the Cougars to the 4x100-meter relay title and individually placed sixth in the 100-meter dash.
In addition to the 4x100-meter relay, Mulholland also qualified for the NCAA West Regional in the 100-meter dash and 200-meter dash.
Lott ended the 2026 season with two school records under his belt and an impactful Big 12 campaign. On February 13 at the Howie Ryan Invitational, Lott became the weight throw school-record holder at 21.41m. He then placed seventh as a Big 12 Indoor scorer in the same category with a throw of 20.33m. On April 30, he broke another school record, this time in the hammer throw, where he threw 66.89m at the Cameron Burrell Invitational. The McAllen, Texas, native ended the season as an NCAA West Regional qualifier.
Panagiotou also ended the season as an NCAA West Regional qualifier. The Thessaloniki, Greece, native became the indoor pole vault school record holder at 4.25m, a title she earned while competing at the Charlie Thomas Invitational. She also ended her season as a Big 12 Indoor and Outdoor scorer in the pole vault, placing eighth at 4.05m and fifth at 4.17m, respectively.
Levesque ended his sophomore campaign as a Big 12 Conference scorer with multiple personal bests in the books. A Big 12 Indoor and Outdoor scorer, Levesque earned a personal-best 5,537 points in the heptathlon at the Big 12 Indoor Championship, where he placed eighth. At the Big 12 Outdoor Championship, the El Paso, Texas, native scored a personal-best and 10th-best decathlon mark in program history with 7,374 points, where he placed eighth.
Fall set a new personal best of 15.93m in the triple jump at the Big 12 Outdoor Championship, earning eighth place to qualify for the NCAA West Regional.
Ochoa ended the season as a Big 12 Outdoor scorer with a sixth-place finish in the 4x100-meter relay. At the Big 12 Indoor Championship, she recorded the ninth-fastest 60-meter dash time in program history with a time of 7.39.
Reed ended the season ninth in program history in the discus after posting a personal best mark of 50.60m at Texas Relays on April 4.
Tupper ended her collegiate career ranking in the top-10 in program history for pole vault. She became eighth in program history indoors after clearing 3.90m and sixth for the outdoor season with a 4.02m performance.

The 2026 Academic All-District Team, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.
Select All-District honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. First-, Second- and Third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced in July.
