Cougars open action on Thursday with multi events
BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The University of Houston Track & Field program travels to Texas A&M for the 44 Farms Team Invitational at E.B. Cushing Stadium. Â

The three-day meet begins at Noon on Thursday, with multi-events. Friday action begins at 10 a.m. with multis and field events, followed by running events at 6 p.m., and wraps up Saturday at 10 a.m. with field events and running events at 6 p.m.Â

STARTING NOTES
The Cougars earned four titles at Texas Relays in the women's javelin, men's 4x100-meter relay, men's 4x200-meter relay and women's 4x400-meter relay on Saturday.Â

STARTING NOTES
The Cougars earned four titles at Texas Relays in the women's javelin, men's 4x100-meter relay, men's 4x200-meter relay and women's 4x400-meter relay on Saturday.Â
- On Thursday, junior Reagan Reedy won the women's javelin throw with a personal best mark of 45.66m. This marked Houston's third overall victory in the event, and first since 1982. Â
- The men's 4x200-meter relay earned the first relay title of the weekend as junior Jaelyn Reeves-Lile, senior Danarrion Ard, freshman Sean Aigboboh and graduate Trey East III ran a time of 1:22.48. The victory marked Houston's sixth 4x200-meter relay title at Texas Relays.Â
- The men's 4x100-meter relay team won its seventh Texas Relays title as graduate Ryan Mulholland, junior Michael Onilogbo, senior Dakari Charlton and senior Louie Hinchliffe posted a time of 38.69. Their time is the 10th fastest in program history and tied for fourth in the nation this season.Â
- The women's 4x400-meter relay won its second Texas Relays title in program history and first since 1992. Freshman Kamree Wolridge, sophomore Carlysia Cresser, freshman Jada Stanford and junior Michaela Mouton ran a time of 3:33.79, the sixth fastest time in program history.Â
- In the men's high jump, junior Antrea Mita made his outdoor season opener with a second-place mark of 2.14m.Â
- Sophomore Cleo Agyepong finished second in the women's shot put with a mark of 15.93m.Â
- In the men's 4x100-meter relay invitational, sophomore Darius Rodgers, freshman Micah Washington, Ard and Aigboboh placed second with a time of 40.68.Â
- The women's 4x200-meter relay took home third place as senior Matilde Ochoa, sophomore Norah Nwonumah, Cresser and Mouton with a time of 1:35.20.Â
