NORMAN, Okla. – The University of Houston Women's Golf program begins its 2025-26 season when it tees off at the Schooner Fall Classic at Belmar Golf Club on Saturday.

All three senior Cougars will represent their home nations at the World Amateur Team Championships, set for Oct. 1-4 at Tanah Merah Country Club in Singapore.
Yates competed in four tournaments a year ago and tied for 21st at the Riverbend Intercollegiate March. She set a school record in 2023-24, becoming the only Cougar to win an individual championship during her collegiate debut at the Sam Golden Invitational at Oakmont Country Club in Corinth, Texas.
Vaisto joined Houston during the summer after transferring from Mercer. There, she competed in 12 tournaments and posted a 73.78 scoring average with five Top-10 finishes, including a third-place showing at the Tiger Classic in August 2024.
