
Women’s Basketball Announces Non-Conference Schedule

Cougars open Matthew Mitchell era against UT Arlington in Fertitta Center on Nov. 4
HOUSTON – Houston Women's Basketball and new Head Coach Matthew Mitchell announced its 11-game non-conference schedule for the 2025-26 season on Wednesday.
As part of the 11-game schedule, the Cougars will host six home games, travel to three true road games and compete in a pair two neutral-site games.
To tip off Mitchell's first season in charge, the Cougars begin with a three-game homestand against interstate rivals UT Arlington (Nov. 4), UTSA (Nov. 8) and Rice (Nov. 11).
Following the homestand, the Cougars hit the road to face Stephen F. Austin in Nacogdoches, Texas, (Nov. 17), followed by a trip down south against UT Rio Grande Valley in Edinburg, Texas (Nov. 20).
Following a quick home game against High Point (Nov. 23), the Cougars embark on a trip to Nassau, Bahamas, to compete in the Baha Mar Hoops Invitational (Nov. 28 and 30). Opponents for Baha Mar Hoops will be announced at a later date.
December brings in three more contests, starting with a home matchup against Southern (Dec. 7), followed by a trip to The Pit to face off against New Mexico (Dec. 13).
Wrapping up the non-conference slate, Houston will host Montana (Dec. 16) for its annual Elementary Day game.
Ticket information, game times and broadcasting networks will be announced in the near future.

Season tickets for the 2025-26 Houston Women's Basketball campaign are on sale now. To purchase, click here or contact the University of Houston Ticket Office during regular business hours at 713-GO-COOGS (462-6647).
Seating inside the Fertitta Center for all Houston Women's Basketball games will be reserved starting at $100. Season ticket holders can also add a season-long parking pass inside the Stadium Garage for $75.
Fans who opt for floor, loge and club seats will have access to amenities in the Sideline Club, such as complimentary popcorn and soft drinks. A concession stand and cash bar will also be located for fans in the Sideline Club.
