Marshall Jr. Earns Second Team All-America Honors on Friday

Jamar Marshall Jr. concludes indoor season at NCAA Indoor Championships
VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – University of Houston Track & Field senior Jamar Marshall Jr. concluded his 2025 indoor season with Second Team All-America honors at the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships on Friday inside the Virginia Beach Sports Complex.
Marshall Jr. finished 16th overall in the men's 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.10. This is his first All-America honor as a Cougar after earning two First Team honors at Arizona State during the 2021 NCAA Outdoor Championships and at the 2022 NCAA Indoor Championships.
UP NEXT
The Cougars will resume action on Saturday as sophomore Antrea Mita makes his NCAA Indoor Championships debut in the men's high jump at 11 a.m. CT. Mita currently ranks second in the nation with his personal best mark of 2.26m (7-5.00).
Graduate KeAyla Dove will compete in the women's shot put at 12:45 p.m. CT. Dove leads the nation after recording a school record and the third all-time best mark in NCAA history at 19.46m (63-10.25).
