LAHAINA, Maui, Hawai'i â€" The University of Houston Men's Golf program closes out its fall team schedule this weekend when it tees off at the Ka'anapali Collegiate Classic on the Royal Ka'anapali Course at Ka'anapali Golf Club.
The Cougars will play 18 holes with a 1:30 p.m. (CT) starting shotgun start each day through Sunday on the 6,700-yard, par-71 Royal Ka'anapali course.

TEAM FIELD
The Cougars will compete against No. 7 Oklahoma, No. 13 LSU, No. 15 Georgia, No. 24 Clemson, No. 33 North Florida, No. 37 Kansas, No. 39 South Carolina, No. 49 UNC Wilmington, Ball State, Boise State, Bowling Green, Cal State Fullerton, Cal State Northridge, Georgia State, Gonzaga, Hawai'i-Hilo, Long Beach State, Loyola Marymount, Minnesota, Sacramento State, UTSA, UC Santa Barbara and host Hawai'i.

Papito Gonzalez â€" Leads Cougars with 71.11 average and six rounds of par or better in 2016-17… Tied for eighth at Bayou City Collegiate Classic at 1-under 215… Opened that tournament with consecutive sub-par rounds… Opened Maui Jim Intercollegiate with career-low 67 and followed with 70… Led Cougars and tied for 13th at 5-under 208 on Sept. 23-25… Native of McAllen, Texas, and product of Memorial High School.
Michael Perras â€" Second on team with 71.78 average and five rounds of par or better… Tied for 13th at Bayou City Collegiate Intercollegiate at even-par 216… Was the 2016 NCAA Franklin Regional individual champion at 16-under 200… Native of Deer Park, Texas, and product of Deer Park High School.
Logan Davis â€" Tied for third on team with 71.83 average and four rounds of par or better… Opened Royal Oaks Intercollegiate with 68 and posted score of 3-under 210 to tie for ninth and lead Cougars on Oct. 24-25… Closed the Bayou City Collegiate Classic with a 71 and tied for 34th at 221… Native of Humble, Texas, and product of Atascocita High School.
Pryce Beshoory â€" Tied for third on team with 71.83 average… Three rounds of par or better… Opened and closed Royal Oaks Intercollegiate with sub-par rounds and tied for 21st at 215 on Oct. 24-25… Native of Pearland, Texas, and product of Lutheran South Academy… Member of Pearland Little League team, which finished fourth at 2010 Little League World Series.
Zach Tracy â€" Tied for third on team with 71.83 average and four rounds of par or better… Made his collegiate debut a memorable one… Posted three straight rounds of par or better at Bayou City Collegiate Classic to lead Cougars and tie for fifth at 2-under 214 at Golfcrest Country Club in Pearland, Texas... Sat out as a redshirt with the Cougars in 2015-16… Native of Houston and product of Seven Lakes High School.
FIRST-ROUND TEE TIMES
For Friday's First Round, the Cougars will compete in groups with student-athletes from Cal State Northridge, North Florida and Loyola Marymount.
Perras begins at 1:30 p.m. (CDT) Friday in the first group off No. 12 with Gonzalez (second group off No. 12), Tracy (first group off No. 13), Davis (second group off No. 13) and Beshoory (second group off No. 14) following.
Saturday's Second Round and Sunday's Final Round also begin with 1:30 p.m. (CT) starts.
LAST TIME OUT
The Cougars posted their second straight team finish at the Royal Oaks Intercollegiate with a score of 1,066 over 54 holes on Oct. 24-25 at Royal Oaks Country Club in Dallas.
Davis opened the tournament with a team-low 68 and posted even-par rounds of 71 over the final 36 holes to lead Houston and tie for ninth at 3-under 210. Gonzalez, Perras and Beshoory joined Davis among the tournament's top-25 leaders.
UP NEXT
Following the Ka'anapali Collegiate Classic, the Cougars as a team will take a break from competition before opening the spring season Feb. 17-19 at the All-American Intercollegiate at Golf Club of Houston.
However, Perras will compete one last time as an individual to close out the fall season. After earning PING All-America Honorable Mention honors a year ago, Perras will tee off as an individual at the Western Refining All-America Classic on Nov. 12-13 at El Paso Country Club in El Paso, Texas.
