New Mexico State wins game two of Houston Classic Tournament

HOUSTON, Texas - Behind a 21-point performance by Princess Moore New Mexico State University won the second game of the Houston Classic Tournament at Hofheinz Pavilion over the Alcorn State Lady Braves 68-59.
The Aggies also got stong performances from Keiarra Moore who sank 13 of 16 free throws and finished with 16 points and Sinamonn Garrett who also finished with 16 points.
Alcorn State was led by LaToya Johnson's 13 points while Alicia Gardner and Tnonealyer Powers who scored 11 and 10 points respectively.
The final game of the Houston Classic will be Sunday at 2 p.m. when the University of Houston Lady Cougars take on Alcorn State.
