2004-05 SEASON
Won the first event of his collegiate career at the Cobb/Ferrell Mean Green Classic... Improved his score with each round and fired back-to-back sub-par round in the final 36 holes... Posted a score of then-career-best 69 in the second round and followed that with a career-best 68 in the final round to win the event... Became the first Cougar since May 2003 to win a tournament... Was the only Cougar to shoot par or better at the Louisiana Classics.
2003-04 SEASON
Improved his score during each round at the season-opening Mean Green Classic... Was the Cougars[apos] steadiest performer during the spring season-opening appearance at the Waikoloa Intercollegiate... Fired a 1-under-par 71 in the final two rounds to finish in a tie for 24th place... Finished in a tie for 9th place at the Morris Williams Intercollegiate after shooting even par or better in all three rounds... Earned a seventh-place finish at the Border Olympics after shooting a career-best 4-under-par 212... Led the Cougars in their fifth straight tournament at the Conference USA Championship... Fired a 2-under-par 70 in the final round to tie for seventh at 219... Was the only Cougar invited to compete at the NCAA Central Regional and tied for 66th place in that postseason event.
2002-03 SEASON
Made his collegiate debut at the Windon Memorial Classic... Fired a 1-under-par 71 in the final round of that event to jump into a tie for the team lead at 225... Led the Cougars in only the second tournament of his young career at the PING Arizona Intercollegiate... Tied for 26th at the Arizona tournament... Fired a 1-under par in the second round of that tournament and capped his stay there with an even-par 70 in the final round to finish at 213... Fired a 70 and 71 in the first two rounds at the Waikoloa Intercollegiate to help lead the Cougars to a third-place finish... Fired an even-par 72 in the first round of the Morris Williams Intercollegiate.
HIGH SCHOOL
Lettered at Red Mountain High School for head coach Kurt Saunders... Earned All-State honors in final two prep seasons... Named captain of the golf team... Helped lead Red Mountain High to Class 5A state championships as a junior and senior... Captured championship of the Arizona Senior High School Classic... Was a two-time Thunderbird Invitational champion.
