Diver Michelle McLeod Collects Final Big 12 Diver of the Week Award

HOUSTON – University of Houston Swimming & Diving junior Michelle McLeod was named the Big 12 Diver of the Week, the league office announced Thursday.

McLeod collected her fifth weekly award following her performance at Houston's First Chance Meet. This marks the most Diver of the Week awards for the University of Houston since joining the Big 12 as well as the most in the conference this season.

The Spruce Grove, Alberta, Canada, native placed first in the 3-meter springboard (339.90) and platform (318.38) events and collected second in the 1-meter event (295.20). McLeod also recorded a new personal best on the platform.
