Swimming & Diving Unveils 2026-27 Meet Schedule

Cougars host four meets at CRWC Natatorium, including the Phill Hansel Invitational and Big 12 Showdown
HOUSTON – The Houston Swimming & Diving team unveiled its 2026-27 schedule on Thursday. The slate features six home meets including dual meets against North Texas, Kansas and Rice.

Houston begins its season heading west to Fresno, Calif., for a dual meet against Fresno State on Oct. 16-17.
Â
Following a two-week hiatus, the Cougars return to Houston to host its first home meet of the season on Oct. 30-31 versus North Texas.

The next week, Houston hosts its only tri meet of the year inviting a pair of American Conference opponents, Tulane and Rice, to the CRWC Natatorium in a tri-meet on Nov. 6.Â

The Cougars host their annual Phill Hansel Invitational, running from Nov. 17-20.

 To close the fall slate, Houston hosts a dual meet against Kansas (Dec. 5). Concurrently, the U.S Open Championships held from Dec. 2-5 in Austin, Texas is open for swimmers that qualify to enter.

Following the winter break, Houston dives back into action, hosting the Big 12 East Showdown. The Cougars welcome Iowa State, Cincinnati, West Virginia and TCU on Jan. 16-17 for a preview of the Big 12 Championships.Â

Houston concludes its regular season hosting their final dual meet of the season against cross-town rival, Rice, on Jan. 30.Â

The Big 12 Conference Championship runs from Feb. 23-27 in Greensboro, N.C.Â

The divers that qualify will head to Austin, Texas for NCAA Diving Zones running from March 8-10.Â

For the swimmers and divers that qualify, the postseason finishes with the NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships hosted in Austin from March 17-20.Â
