Men’s Golf Completes Play at Aggie Invitational

Junior Drew Murdock and sophomore Bryant Hiskey competed as individuals at Traditions Club
BRYAN, Texas – Competing as individuals, University of Houston junior Drew Murdock and sophomore Bryant Hiskey II completed play at the Aggie Invitational at Traditions Club on Sunday afternoon.
Both golfers tied for 59th with a score of 237 on the 7,227-yard, par-72 course.
Baylor captured the team title with a score of 878 to finish six shots ahead of host Texas A&M. Sam Houston finished third at 896 with LSU (899), Louisville (900) and UTSA (900) rounding out the Top-Five leaders.
Texas A&M's Jamie Montojo and Louisiana Tech's Niilo Maki-Petaja tied for medalist honors at 217 while Texas A&M's Phicaksn Maichon finished third at 218.

Following the Aggie Invitational, Houston competes as a team in its final regular-season event when it tees off at the Thunderbird Intercollegiate at Papago Golf Club in Tempe, Ariz., on April 12-13.
From there, the team tees off in its first Big 12 Championships, set for April 22-24 at Whispering Pines Golf Club in Trinity, Texas. The winner of the league's annual postseason event earns an automatic bid into the NCAA Regionals, set for March 13-15 at one of six sites across the nation.
