Houston to Face North Texas in Exhibition

HOUSTON â€" The Houston Swimming & Diving team will get its first taste of competition, Friday at the UNT Relays, hosted by North Texas at the Westside Aquatic Center in Lewisville, Texas.
The meet marks the second straight year the Cougars have kicked off their season with an exhibition contest against North Texas, and the fifth time overall in program history. Last year, Houston posted a first-place finish at the event with 386 points, coming away with three relay wins and a school record, set by Laura Laderoute in the 100 IM.
Houston looks to build off of the record-breaking season it had last year that was capped off with the programs first conference title.
Events are set to begin at 4:00 p.m. and results can be found on the Meet Mobile app.
