Swimming & Diving Announces 2014-15 Schedule

HOUSTON - Houston Swimming & Diving Head Coach Rich Murphy announced the meet schedule for the 2014-15 season Monday afternoon.
The Cougars will host two dual meets and an invitational off campus this season. Houston kicks off the season with the Red & White intrasquad meet at the CRWC Natatorium Sept. 26 at 1:30 p.m.
Houston will host two dual meets this season, first taking on Incarnate Word Oct. 11 followed by a meet against Rice Oct. 16.
Swimming & Diving jumps back into the pool in Dallas for a meet against North Texas and Texas A&M Oct. 31 and a dual meet at SMU Nov. 1.
Swimmers travel to San Juan, Puerto Rico for a week of training at the beginning of January. The divers head to Indianapolis, Indiana for a training camp trip during the same week.
The Cougars head to Baton Rouge, La., for a quad meet with Rice, Tulane and LSU in preparation for the 2015 conference championships.
This year, the American Athletic Conference Championships will be held Feb. 18-21, 2015 at the Greensboro Aquatics Center in Greensboro, N.C.
For the postseason, the NCAA Zone Diving meet is slated for Columbus, Ohio March 9-11 while the NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships is scheduled for March 19-21 in Greensboro, N.C.
