Hello out there Cougar fans! Well we just got back to the village after being away for six days of training and trying to refresh for the upcoming 3m event. Obviously, there has been diving going on while we away, and I am not sure if you saw it but the world of diving just got turned upside down!! The Greek team ended up winning the Mens 3m synchro which was probably a million to one odds of that happening. It was more like a clown show, and things happened that we have never ever seen in our lifetime. The top team of China failed a dive and got a zero - the Russian team hit the board - the Americans who were in a perfect situation to win blew their dives and so the Greeks won. There are no words to describe what happened, only to say the Greek gods were looking down on them!! I think the shock of that event will be felt in the diving world for years to come. Our training has gone well in Patra. Yulia and Vera are doing great, and we are just ready to do our thing. The competition is tough, of course, and we expect to contend for some medals on Thurs 26th Aug in the final. Watch for us then!! It seems like we have been here foreve,r but our time is near - scream for us loud; we will surely hear you. We will give the Cougar sign every chance we get.
