Houston Volleyball Head Coach Kaddie Platt announced Friday the hiring of Stephanie Robinett as the new Director of Operations for the volleyball program.
As the Director of Operations, Robinett’s responsibilities include Camp Director, Team Travel, Coordinator of Events, and Data Volley.
“We are excited to add Stephanie to the Volleyball staff as Director of Volleyball Operations,” Platt said. “She is well-organized, detailed oriented, and determined young professional. She had some great graduate experience with Texas Volleyball and was extremely motivated to learn. We are looking forward to having her on staff.”
Prior to Houston, Robinett spent the last year with the University of Texas Volleyball program as a graduate assistant. While with the Longhorns, Robinett served as the assistant summer camp director and learned the Data Volley statistical program.
The Sugar Land, Texas, native is a graduate of Dulles High School. She played volleyball through high school and was recruited to play at Wagner College in Staten Island, N.Y. A year later, Robinett transferred to Marist College in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., to continue her collegiate career after volleyball was dropped from Wagner Athletics.
Robinett graduated from Marist College in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in Communications. She earned her master’s in Sports Management from the University of Texas this spring (2015).
