May was then named to the SBC All-Tournament Team after appearing in the SBC Tournament finals, where she later earned AVCA Honorable Mention Southwest Region.
By the time she finished her career, May found herself on top of the Arkansas State records book, becoming the all-time leader in kills (1,901) and kills per set (4.14). In the classroom, May was named to the A-State Dean's List, Chancellor's List, Athletic Director Honor Roll and the SBC Commissioner's List all four years of her academic career.
