- Daughter of Kacey Carlton (Moffitt), who played at Baylor and professionally in Europe and Asia for seven years, as well as with the WNBA’s Detroit Shock and Miami Sol

- Why Houston: Because of the coaching staff, the opportunity to be part of a growing program, strong player development and a fit with her preferred position. Competing in a strong conference while staying close to home and family also made Houston the right choice.
- Most memorable athletic accomplishment: Playing in the Aggieland Tournament and winning Nike Nationals
