- Competed in 10 meets in the shot put, including the NCAA Outdoor Championships
- Earned All-America Honorable Mention status after placing 23rd in the shot put at the NCAA Championships (June 11)
- Placed eighth at the NCAA West First Round to qualify for the NCAA Championships with a personal best 16.94m, the third-best mark in program history (May 28)
- Recorded a victory with a mark of 16.54m at the Cameron Burrell Invitational (April 30)
- Picked up the win with a mark of 15.15m at the Victor Lopez Classic (March 28)
- Opened the outdoor season with a victory after posting a mark of 16.37m at the Kirk Baptiste Invitational (March 19)
