Mission of the Office of Athletics ComplianceThe mission of the Office of Athletics Compliance at the University of Houston is to uphold the rules and regulations of the National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA), Big 12 Conference (Big 12) and University of Houston (UH).
The Office of Athletics Compliance educates, monitors, and verifies compliance with all NCAA, Big 12, and UH rules with the goal of providing student-athletes with the tools and opportunities to progress toward meaningful degrees and develop their athletic abilities in an environment of integrity, leadership, competition, and sportsmanship.
Everyone within the Houston Athletics Department has a shared responsibility to create a culture of compliance with all NCAA, Big 12, and UH rules and regulations. Including a duty to report any violations of rules and regulations.
